I was born in Houston, Texas on February 22, 1976. I was a very, very active child but well behaved. Dancing has been a huge part of my life. I danced for 20 years and was a member of several dance companies. I also cheered in middle school and high school. My biggest claim to fame was the brief time I was a professional clown. My mom enrolled my sister and I in a class offered by Barnum and Bailey Circus. I was a white face clown. My costume was red and I had ice cream cone pockets, I even had red hearts painted on my cheeks and I also had a pink wig. When I was officially inducted, my clown name was put in a book and no one else can have that name. I really do not think most people would choose "Sweet Cheeks" for a name, so I am safe. I was only six so that explains the name. I also roller skated for 12 years and entered many competitions.
Education came easy for me so, I graduated from high school early. I went to Texas A&M and graduated in 3 years. I then attended North Texas for my Master's degree and up until the birth of our son, I was working towards my doctorate. I do not have much more to go, so, I am determined to complete it.
We have a beautiful little boy named Calvin Tucker, who goes by Tucker. Calvin was my dad's name, my granddad's name and my husband's father's name. These are the men that have meant the most to me, especially my granddad.
