About Miss Salmon

Hello UP Panther Family!

My name is Molly Salmon and I am so excited to be starting my third year at UP and my seventh year teaching! I grew up in Coppell and graduated from Texas A&M University in 2013 (whoop!) with a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. After college I returned to Coppell where I began my teaching career. I taught third and fourth grade throughout my 4 years in CISD. The past two years in 3rd grade at UP have been so wonderful and I am excited for another awesome year!

I currently live in the Dallas area and I am working on my masters at Dallas Baptist University in School Counseling. In my free time I enjoy traveling, cooking, live music, enjoying time at the pool or on the lake, and spending time with my family and friends!

Teaching and working with children are my passions and I am so thankful I get to do so at UP. Developing strong relationships, a respectful classroom community, and a genuine love for learning are my main focuses on the classroom. I’m looking forward to another great year in our beautiful new building!
