Hello! My name is Miss Lieske and this is my sixth year teaching. I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Social Studies Education and my Master of Education Degree in Diverse Learning/ESL. I recently moved to Dallas from Austin, TX where I was teaching Behavior Support at Westlake High School. I currently live with my fiance, Tyler, and our rescue dog, Ned.
As a Special Education educator, my passion has really streamlined into helping my students access the curriculum regardless of where they are at. I love presenting students with a challenge and watching them meet or exceed their own expectations. Learning is not “one-size-fits-all”, and I thoroughly enjoy differentiating and figuring out what works best for my students.
I went into teaching because my grandmother was a teacher for 32 years and it was heartwarming to see the impact she made on her students. I hope to leave the same impression on my students, and I love being able to reflect on what my students end up teaching me throughout each school year.
