About Mrs. Broadhurst

My name is Katherine Broadhurst, and I am so happy to be part of the Panther family! I grew up in Arlington, Texas. I graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Elementary Education. I previously taught Kindergarten for 13 years and have LOVED teaching third grade for the last 4 years. Third graders are the BEST. 

 

I live in Richardson with my husband, Trent, and our sweet golden-doodle, Merit. I love spending time with my friends and family. I enjoy reading, cooking, and traveling. 

 

As an educator, I believe in building strong relationships with my learners, families, and the community. I strive to create a safe and nurturing learning environment and for every child to leave filled with a love for learning!
