About Mrs. Harvill

Hello Panther Family! My name is Anna Harvill, and I am truly excited to start my first year at University Park in fourth grade and my tenth year of teaching! A native Texan, I was born and raised in Richardson. I attended the University of Texas at Dallas, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies while playing for the UTD Women's Soccer Team. After my time at UTD, I attended SMU and received a Graduate Certificate in Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management. For the last 9 years, I have been an educator in Richardson ISD. I was a classroom teacher in 3rd grade and 5th grade science. After the classroom, I stepped into the role of Instructional Coach, and I spent the last year as a Data, Assessment, and Intervention Coach.

I currently live with my husband Colin and our two dogs, Aspen and Junior in Garland. My husband and I enjoy traveling, cooking, going to concerts and staying active in our community. In my free time, I truly love playing soccer and working out!

I am extremely excited for the upcoming year, and look forward to building a strong relationship with you and your kiddos! I believe in building a strong classroom community in which students feel comfortable being themselves socially and academically. I think I have the best job in the world and look forward to sharing my love of learning with you and your family!
