About Mrs. Beckler
I'm so excited to join the UP family! I can't wait to meet the staff, students, parents, and community members.
I'm known as the "Ladybug" and students can come and talk to me about anything that is "bugging" them. I'm highly visible and you can catch me greeting students in the morning welcoming them to school.
I just completed my 26th year in education! I taught first, second, and third grade. After 9 years in the classroom I became a school counselor. In addition to being a school counselor I worked at Region 10, Education Service Center as a Positive Behavior Supports Consultant. Outside of Region 10 ESC my career has been in Garland ISD.
Personally, my husband and I love to travel and spend time with our family and friends. It's going to a great year!
