Talented & Gifted

I was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and moved to Texas while serving in the U.S. Air Force. I earned my bachelor's degree in English from Midwestern State University in 2009 and completed my master's degree in Educational Leadership in 2024.

Before teaching in the TAG classroom, I taught Kindergarten, served as a Resource/Inclusion Special Education teacher, and taught in the Behavior Unit. 

My husband, Brad, and I live in Dallas with our dog, Spencer. We have two daughters who are both currently attending college. Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, exploring everything our wonderful city has to offer, and spending quality time with family and friends.

I am honored to serve as UP's TAG teacher and campus coordinator. I look forward to inspiring curiosity, encouraging creativity, and making this an AMAZING school year filled with learning and discovery!
