Carpool Instructions
The safety of all University Park students is a shared responsibility. Families participating in carpool will receive a campus carpool tag to display in their vehicle. Parents are asked to follow all established traffic patterns and staff directions to help ensure a safe and efficient arrival and dismissal process.
Important Carpool Reminders:
• Display your UP carpool tag when using the carpool line.
• Never leave your vehicle unattended in the carpool lane.
• Communicate all dismissal arrangements with your child's teacher.
• Notify the teacher of dismissal changes before 2:00 p.m. whenever possible.
• Have a rain-day pickup plan, as traffic is heavier during inclement weather.
• Consider carpooling or parking a block away and walking to reduce congestion.
• Be alert and drive cautiously, as children may act unpredictably near pickup and drop-off areas.
