Turkey Trot to Make A Lot!

The TURKEY TROT will be held on November 26th from 1-3pm at Curtis Park. This is normally a student only event….. but this year FAMILIES are welcome! You just have to PAY to PLAY!

Through the Turkey Trot, we will be educating our little Panther turkeys about giving back to the community.  All funds raised will go to Rally with Rebecca. Rebecca Brimmage was a student at University Park Elementary and you can read more about her beautiful, inspiring life when you register through the link listed below. Ewing’s Sarcoma is rare form of cancer that affects 200-300 children each year in the U.S. There are two UP families that have been affected by this disease. We hope to make this a time to show our support for cancer awareness while making this a fun and memorable event!

How do YOU pay to play…you must register yourself ($25)…you don’t get to run, but you will receive a shirt and can attend to cheer on your little turkey!

Other ways to contribute…
  • Buy your child a shirt! ($12- $15)
  • Buy a cool trucker hat… quantities are limited! ($25)
  • Or by honoring a friend or family member affected by cancer on our Honor Board ($5)

****Leaving town for the Trot? Don’t worry, order your shirts now as we will be placing an order soon!

The registration deadline is November 15th so click HERE to get started!

Through Panther’s Care we are able to take these opportunities to educate our children about the importance of giving back. The Brimmage Family will be kicking off the Turkey Trot with some words about Rebecca and her fight to beat cancer and how her family works to carry on her legacy, through giving back.
