Specials Team

Specials is the place where ALL students can shine! Whether it’s learning to collaborate or work in harmony in Music, becoming a global learner while acquiring a 2nd or 3rd language in Spanish, strengthening their minds & bodies in Physical Education, or engaging the right brain through the creative design process in Art; these “special” learning endeavors help the whole child blossom.

Each UP student attends Specials for 60 minutes daily and engages in a variety of hands-on, collaborative, and active learning activities.  Please see individual Specials staff pages for more information.
