About Ms. Henson

Hello!

My name is Ann Henson, and I am thrilled to share a little about myself. I hold a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Texas, and I have found a passion in being a Special Education (SPED) teacher. There is nothing more rewarding than helping children with diverse needs discover their strengths.

On a personal note, I am a proud mother of four wonderful children. Three of them are currently navigating college life, while my youngest is attending Highland Park High School. Watching my kids grow and pursue their dreams has been one of the greatest joys of my life.

When I'm not in the classroom or cheering on my kids, you can usually find me indulging in my love for college sports or exploring the great outdoors. Growing up in Highland Park instilled in me a deep appreciation for family, friends and community. Life is a wonderful adventure, and I am grateful for each and every experience it brings.
