Mrs. Ketterer

Hey there, Panthers! I'm Mrs. Lainey Ketterer, and I am so thrilled to be a part of the UP family this year!

I am from Midland, TX and I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. My teaching journey has been nothing short of amazing, with valuable experiences at Midway ISD in Waco, Texas, and later at Carroll ISD in the DFW area.

Beyond the classroom, my heart is filled with joy by my loving husband, David, and our adorable labradoodle, Frankie. You can often catch us having a ball playing fetch at the dog park or going on exciting adventures together. I also love to read and cheer on my Baylor Bears! 

To me, teaching is not just a profession; it's my greatest joy in life. There's nothing more rewarding than witnessing young minds flourish and grow. I wholeheartedly believe that each student and I are meant to be together for a special purpose, and I'm dedicated to fostering a classroom environment where creativity, learning, and support thrive. It is my goal to empower our students to become confident and compassionate leaders, equipped with the knowledge and determination to make a positive impact on the world around them. I am truly passionate about partnering with parents to create a nurturing space for every child's growth and success.

Being a part of this district fills me with immense pride, and I am so grateful to share this exciting journey with all of you. Together, we'll make this school year one to remember, filled with laughter, learning, and endless possibilities!
