About Miss Jenna Caron
Hello everyone! My name is Jenna Caron, and I am thrilled to be starting my first year as a teacher in the UP Science Lab. Last year, I had the incredible opportunity to serve as an instructional assistant, and I was honored to be named Paraprofessional of the Year. After discovering my passion for education, I decided to pursue my Early Childhood - 6th Grade teaching certification which I completed this summer. My journey into education has been deeply rewarding, and I am excited to bring my passion for learning and teaching science into the classroom.
Science has always been a great love of mine. From a young age, I was enamored with all things Space, Weather, and Marine Biology. I initially pursued a degree in Meteorology before ultimately switching to Communications, which I earned from the University of Oklahoma (Boomer!). I'm a proud Sooner and love to cheer for them in every sport, but especially football! Another passion of mine is baseball, and I am a huge New York Mets fan.
I am originally from Connecticut and look forward to visiting New England every summer. Currently, I live in Dallas, TX with my fiancée Jerett, who teaches 7th grade at HPMS. When I'm not teaching, I love to listen to Taylor Swift, spend time with friends and family, and play pickleball! I am looking forward to an amazing year of learning and exploration in the Lab, and cannot wait to get started!
