All About Mrs. Auces

Welcome to Preschool! My name is Ashley Auces; my last name rhymes with houses. My journey in education has been driven by a deep passion for fostering young minds and understanding the intricate ways they develop and learn. I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, where I earned my Masters in Education with a focus on Mind, Brain, and Education. This unique specialization has equipped me with an understanding of the cognitive and neurological processes that underpin learning and development in children.

 

I hold certifications in Early Childhood through 6th Grade General Education, ESL (English as a Second Language), Special Education, and Gifted and Talented Education. These diverse qualifications reflect my commitment to meeting the varied needs of my students, ensuring each child receives a tailored and enriching educational experience. 

 

At home, my life is filled with love and laughter in Dallas, where I live with my supportive husband, Andrew, and our two wonderful children. Our family enjoys a variety of activities that bring us closer together and enrich our lives. Cooking and baking are among our favorite pastimes, providing both delicious results and valuable teaching moments for our kids. Gardening allows us to connect with nature, while reading opens up worlds of imagination and knowledge. In my personal time, I stay up to date with educational neuroscience research, continuously seeking ways to enhance my teaching practices and contribute to the field of education. Through these pursuits, I strive to be the best educator I can be, both in the classroom and at home.
