About Miss Salmon

Hello UP Panther Family!

My name is Molly Salmon and I am so excited to be starting a new year at UP and another year teaching! I grew up in Coppell and graduated from Texas A&M University in 2013 (whoop!) with a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. After college I returned to Coppell where I began my teaching career. I taught third and fourth grade throughout my 4 years in CISD. Since then I have been teaching 3rd grade at UP and have fallen in love with this age group, curriculum, and school community. In 2021 I graduated from Dallas Baptist University with my masters in School Counseling.

I currently live in the Dallas area with my cavapoo, Knox. In my free time I enjoy traveling, live music, being an aunt, traveling, trying new spots in Dallas, enjoying time at the pool or on the lake, and spending time with my family and friends!

Teaching and working with children are my passions and I am so thankful I get to do so at UP. Developing strong relationships, a respectful classroom community, and a genuine love for learning are my main focuses on the classroom. I’m looking forward to another great year at the best school around!
