Meet Miss Poole

Hello UP Panther Family!

My name is Melissa Poole, and I am overjoyed to be back at my alma mater doing what I love the most! I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching third grade for four years, and am so excited to see what year five is going to bring!

I currently live in the Dallas area with my sister, Kelsey, and my adorable corgi, Dexter. I love spending time with friends and family, staying fit, college football season and taking (short) walks to Starbucks with Dex.

As an educator, it has always been important that I build strong relationships with my students as well as the community. By doing this, I hope to teach children to be reflective, creative, and critical thinkers both socially and academically.
