About Ms. Hoek

Welcome to Kindergarten!  My name is Courtney Hoek and I am looking forward to starting my 22nd year of teaching Kindergarten.  This will be my 17th year at University Park!

I was born in San Antonio, TX where I lived through 6th grade. We then moved to Atlanta, GA until I graduated high school.  I missed Texas so much that I moved back for college at Texas Tech. Go Red Raiders! I have lived in Dallas ever since and later completed my Masters in Education at SMU. Go Ponies! In my free time I love to cook, watch football, and travel!

I have a passion for education, especially Kindergarten! I am looking forward to getting know your kiddos. I can’t wait to instill the love for learning through exploring, researching, reading and writing, and math concepts. It’s going to be a fabulous year!
