About Mrs. Johnson

As a Library/Media Assistant, I help students become passionate about reading and to develop a love for exploration and discovery.  My hope is that students will leave our school with innovative tools that will continue to be used throughout their lives.

I have three children, all graduates of HPISD. One is at Texas A&M, one is at Baylor Law School and the third is happily employed in the Dallas area.

I am certified in Special and General Education as well as ESL. Working in Education is fairly new for me.  My first career, HR Management, was a natural progression after completing an undergraduate business degree at Baylor and receiving an MBA at TCU.  In varying business roles, I developed a passion for training others and tooling individuals to be successful in their jobs. This passion is what empowers me today to effectively help our students reach their full potential.  I truly believe that it is our job as educators to inspire our students to explore, discover and pursue their aspirations as they move toward becoming young adults.
