Referring a student new to Highland Park ISD

TAG Testing


Students who are new to HPISD have the opportunity to test for Talented and Gifted services.  If you are interested, please visit hpisd.org.  Click on Departments, Talented and Gifted, and then Referring a student new to HPISD.  Click the link for the electronic referral form.  Please submit the form within three weeks of your child’s first day of attendance.  Ericca Vandagriff, District TAG Coordinator, at [email protected] if you have questions.
 
 

TAG Referrals (Current Students)

2020-2021 Referrals will take place October 29 (9 a.m.)- December 18 (1 p.m.)
 
TAG referrals take place once per academic year for currently enrolled students. Referrals for the 2020-21 school year will take place from October 29 at 9:00 am - December 18 at 1:00 pm. All deadlines are firm. Late referrals will not be accepted.
 
All referrals are online and must be completed and submitted at one time. The submit button must be engaged by 1:00 pm on Dec. 18. You will receive an email confirmation as well as a copy of your referral from an automated no-reply address.
 
 
An informational meeting about the TAG referral and testing process will be held on October 28th at 9 am.
