About Miss Barrow

I am beyond thrilled to be teaching 1st grade at UP!  I grew up in Colleyville, Texas and attended Fort Worth Christian School.  I graduated with my undergraduate degree from Abilene Christian University (2009). While getting my masters I worked at Robert Louis Stevenson School in Pebble Beach, Ca.

I love to travel and make memories with my family, Mom, Dad, Sister Caroline and brother in law Max.  My favorite travel spots are Pebble Beach, Ca and Coronado Island. My favorite sports are football and golf.  I love the Dallas Cowboys!

As an educator, I want to prepare students for success after they leave my classroom and while they are here, ignite their delight in learning.  My intuitive understanding of the social and emotional needs of a child helps me guide children toward a positive self-image and gives joy to the learning process.  It’s great to be a UP Panther!
